DIRECTIONS FOR USING BIO-GREEN® BIODEGRADER

DRAIN CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Drain buildup reduces flow capacity about 10% per year. Buildup is slow at first then increases rapidly. BIO-GREEN’s blend of friendly aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, aided by natural enzymes and other harmless factors dig into the waste to liquefy, digest, and deodorize the buildup. Years of accumulation wont disappear overnight, but it will be removed with surprising speed. Unlike chemicals, BIO-GREEN can never harm your plumbing or the environment!

Drain Purge: Discontinue chemical use and flush lines. Mix two teaspoons of BIO-GREEN in one quart of lukewarm (not hot!) water and pour down the drain when drain will be idle for a few hours. Increase dosages for extra large drains. Repeat for each drain and toilet. After the "dig in" period, regular use of the drain carries away the digested waste. When a drain is very slow, repeat treatment daily. Plunge intermittently to help dislodge deposits. Allow a week before going to maintenance program.

Drain Maintenance: Treat drains as above but use 1 teaspoon per quart of water per drain. Treat monthly or weekly according to need, to keep drains odorless and free flowing. Garbage Disposers: Mix 1 teaspoon in 1 pint lukewarm water and pour into disposer. While pouring, flip the disposer on and off to spread the mixture. Leave disposer undisturbed for about 8 hours or overnight. Treat as needed to eliminate odors and keep disposer clean.

CAUTION: When treating large, multiunit, or multistory buildings, begin treatment on the ground floor or with the drains furthest downstream, or dislodged waste may catch in downstream restrictions. If a soft plug occurs, it can be dislodged by cabling, plunging, or other means.
